Finnish airline Finnair increased its revenue by 12.1 percent to EUR 778 million (694) in the first quarter of 2026.

Comparable operating profit improved to EUR -0.6 million (-62.6). Operating profit ended at EUR 3.6 million (-53.4).

Earnings per share were -0.04 euros (-0.25).

The number of passengers increased by 7.3 percent to 2.8 million (2.6).

Finnair plans to increase its total capacity by 3 percent in 2026.

”"However, international conflicts, global political instability and the threat of trade wars cause significant uncertainty in the operating environment. In particular, the possible extension of the ongoing war in the Middle East poses risks related to fuel availability, which, if realized, could have a significant negative impact on Finnair's capacity growth and financial results," the company writes.
