Authorities have previously warned that Europe could face an acute shortage of aviation fuel as early as June. Swedavia's Director of Aviation Marketing, Elizabeth Axtelius, offers reassuring words.

– Summer holiday trips don't look to be under threat. Right now, there's a good inflow of fuel to our airports. We are also not as dependent on oil coming via the Strait of Hormuz as, for example, parts of Asia, so in the short term, things look good, she says to Svenska Dagbladet.
