All air traffic to and from Eindhoven Airport in the Netherlands has been stopped following a technical fault in the air traffic control tower.

No planes can take off or land while the problem is being investigated, writes Omroep Brabant.

The airport has warned of delays and cancelled departures, and several flights have been rerouted to other airports.

It is still unclear what caused the disruption and when traffic can return to normal.
