Ryanair fell on the report

The FTSE 100 index in London was down 0.7 percent. Ryanair fell 4.8 percent, as the budget airline reported second-quarter figures that surprised on the downside. The company's poor quarter was attributed to rising oil prices that have generated increased fuel costs.
