A Norwegian plane took off from Gardermoen in Oslo this morning and had set its sights on Dubrovnik in Croatia.

Instead, it was forced to make an emergency landing in Vienna, writes VG.

Pictures from inside the plane show several cracks in the plane's windshield. A passenger on board tells the newspaper that they received a message over the loudspeaker before the plane made a sharp turn and began to sink.

According to the airline, they are waiting for technicians and a new crew.

– As soon as they are exchanged, the plan is to continue to Dubrovnik, says Eline Hyggen Skari, press officer for Norwegian, to VG.
