Saudi low-cost airline flynas is expanding its European route network and will begin flying directly between Medina and Brussels from October 5, 2026.
The new route will operate twice a week and will strengthen connections between Saudi Arabia and Belgium, while providing travelers with more direct options between Europe and the Middle East.
The investment is part of Flynas’ long-term expansion strategy to develop its international route network and meet the growing demand for international travel. It also supports Saudi Arabia’s national aviation strategy, which aims to reach 330 million air passengers and connect to 250 international destinations by 2030, in line with Vision 2030.
Flynas, which describes itself as the Middle East's leading low-cost airline, is the first airline to be listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul). The company currently operates 156 routes to over 80 destinations in 38 countries, with more than 2,000 flights per week.
Since its inception in 2007, flynas has transported 110 million passengers and aims to expand its network to 165 domestic and international destinations in the coming years.
