Norwegian air traffic controllers are going on strike on Friday. The effects will be major on Norwegian air traffic, several media outlets report.

After the mediators failed to stitch together a solution, it is clear: Many air traffic controllers at the larger Norwegian airports will go on strike on Friday.

The effects will increase during the day and become worse towards the evening, according to press officer Helene W Jensen at the airport company Avinor.

”"The consequences will be felt throughout the country because it concerns the two largest airports," she tells VG.
