Brand på färja till Staten Island i New York

På torsdagen larmades New Yorks brandkår om att en brand brutit ut ombord på en av färjorna som går mellan Manhattan och Staten Island, skriver TT.

Omkring 900 passagerare evakuerades på grund av branden som ska ha brutit ut i färjans maskinrum klockan fem på eftermiddagen lokal tid. Fem personer ska ha skadats i branden och tre av dem fördes till sjukhus för vård.
