Wizz Air will open a new direct route between Malmö and Pristina on December 15, 2026. The route will be operated three times a week with Airbus A321neo and will be another connection from Malmö Airport to southeastern Europe.
The new route between Malmö Airport and Kosovo's capital Pristina will have departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Wizz Air will use Airbus A321neo with 239 seats on the route.
– Wizz Air's investment in another direct route from Malmö Airport is a clear sign of the continued high demand for international travel to and from Sweden, says Aron Backström, Chief Commercial Officer at Swedavia.
He points out that the line can be used for both tourist and business trips, as well as by travelers visiting family and friends.
Wizz Air expands Malmö traffic
Pristina is the capital and economic center of Kosovo. The connections between Kosovo and other parts of Europe are also important for the large Kosovar diaspora.
Wizz Air describes the new route as part of the company's continued expansion in Northern Europe.

The first departure on Malmö–Pristina is scheduled for December 15. After that, the line will operate three times per week.
