11 new hotels will become part of the BWH Hotels chain this spring

A total of eleven new hotels are joining the chain already this spring – from Gotland TV celebrities to newly built design hotels.

Eleven hotels have chosen to become part of BWH Hotels this spring. The mix consists of both newly built hotels and businesses with strong local roots that are now joining the chain. This includes everything from classic city hotels to completely new ventures built from the ground up. By joining BWH Hotels, the hotels gain access to international booking systems, marketing channels and support in several areas – while continuing to be run by local entrepreneurs with strong roots in their region. It is a model that allows for independence, while being part of a larger context.

– We are under incredible pressure right now. It is noticeable that many hotel owners want to have a strong brand behind them, but without compromising their independence. That is exactly what we offer. The hotels that join are very different – everything from newly built concept hotels to established destinations with local roots – but what they have in common is that they are run with great commitment and a clear identity of their own. We really look forward to welcoming them to our network, where genuine hospitality and personal experiences are always at the center, says Johan Michelson, CEO of BWH Hotels in Scandinavia.

Among the new hotels are several exciting additions. On Gotland, Grå Gåsen, known from ”Så mycket bättre”, will become part of WorldHotels Crafted. Grand Hotel in Jönköping and Hotel Riverside in Avesta will join the BW Signature Collection. First Hotel Statt in Karlskrona will change its name to Stadshotellet and will enter under the same brand, while First Hotel Solna will become Best Western Hotel Solna and First Hotel Central in Norrköping will become Best Western Hotell Norrköping City as they join the network. In addition, a new member hotel awaits in Stockholm called Hotel Hötorget and in Kramfors, First Hotel Kramm will transfer to Best Western later this year. In Odense, a brand new Aiden by Best Western will be launched with smart design and an urban expression.

In Denmark, two new hotels have just joined; ART Hotel Dalgas, BW Signature Collection and Hotel Dalgas, BW Signature Collection.

– The fact that so many new hotels are choosing to join clearly shows that our way of working works. We are looking for partnerships with hotels that are driven by heart, have a clear identity and want to remain personal – but who also see the value in business support, loyalty programs and shared visibility. This is completely in line with our aggressive growth strategy. We have high ambitions for the Scandinavian market and aim to become the obvious choice for independent hotels that want to grow on their own terms, says Johan Michelson.
