Transdev has won Västtrafik's procurement of bus traffic in Gothenburg, the transport company writes in a press release.

The procurement means, among other things, that an additional 160 electric buses will begin operating on Västtrafik's lines.

”"Next year we will have 220 electric buses in operation throughout Västtrafik's area. The majority of them will be in Gothenburg," says Västtrafik's Deputy CEO Roger Vahnberg to Göteborgs-Posten.

The agreement, which is worth eight billion kronor, runs for the period 2020–2030 and traffic will start in December next year.
