Finnair canceled almost 300 flights on Sunday evening and Monday due to sympathy strikes among ground staff and customer service at Vantaa-Helsinki Airport. There is a high risk that tomorrow's flights will also be affected.
The parties in the Finnish postal dispute did not reach an agreement on Sunday evening, which affected around 20,000 Finnair passengers and led to long phone lines for customer service.
The strikes have also meant that Lufthansa has cancelled three flights while Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways have cancelled one flight each.
According to Finnair and Finavia, traffic will also be affected tomorrow with at least seven long-haul flights canceled.
Finnair encourages passengers to bring a packed lunch as catering services are limited.
