40 Swedish travel tips from Visit Sweden's newly launched experience guide

The interest in discovering Sweden is great and growing. Almost 40 percent of Swedes are currently planning a trip to Sweden this summer, according to a new temperature survey conducted by Visit Sweden.

To match the demand for inspiration for your next holiday trip, there are now over 600 suggestions for destinations and activities in the company's newly launched experience guide at www.visitsweden.se.

With the help of Sweden's experience guide Swedes can quickly go from inspiration to concrete tips and booking.

– We are overwhelmed by the positive response that has meant that over 12,000 people have visited www.visitsweden.se in just over a week, says Angelica Månsson-Gerde, responsible for the Svemester initiative and Head of New Business at Visit Sweden.

The experience guide has been developed in collaboration with regional tourism organizations, destinations and hospitality companies to showcase the enormous breadth that Sweden has to offer. The focus has been on highlighting experiences that may not be the most well-known, spread across the country and that can be visited even outside of peak season.

Here's how the experience guide works: By answering three simple questions about whether you're longing for the city or the country, whether you're feeling pulse or relaxation, and whether you're traveling with or without children, 5 tips are generated for what you can experience in your vicinity where you are (you can change the distance within which you want to receive tips). You can then click through to read more and directly to the company if you want to make a booking or get more information.
