400 passengers have been stuck on two stationary Vy trains in Jörn outside Skellefteå for several hours, writes Aftonbladet.

One of the trains, bound for Luleå, left Stockholm at 6:11 p.m. on Boxing Day. The train's locomotive suffered a breakdown at 4 a.m. last night, according to a passenger to the newspaper.

”"The food has run out in the bistro and there are dogs on board who can't go out to relieve themselves," says the passenger.

The accident has led to another night train also being stopped behind the train, also with a final destination of Luleå.

There is currently no forecast for when trains can run again.
