Electrical fault stops train traffic

Remove

There is a stop in train traffic between Alingsås and Vårgårda, which also affects trains on the Gothenburg, Skövde, Stockholm route.

The cause is an electrical fault that occurred this morning. The Swedish Transport Administration has now announced that train traffic will not resume until tomorrow morning at the earliest.

The power failure has led to cancelled and delayed trains, and passengers have been stranded in stationary trains. According to Expressen, several trains have been evacuated.

Travelers are referred to their train company for information about replacement services.
