Iberostar Sábila (formerly ”Torviscas Playa”) has been renovated in harmony with its seaside location and with the ambition to offer products and services that appeal to all five senses. The word ”sábila” comes from the Arabic word ”sabaira” and the name ”aloe”, a plant with health-promoting properties that grows all over Tenerife. The island’s strong bond with the plant has given rise to the hotel’s name and the plant’s presence can be seen everywhere, in both the environments and interior details, as well as in the dishes and various treatments at the hotel’s Spa.

The hotel has 472 rooms, standard and superior double rooms and 33 Wellness suites. In addition, there is the option to purchase Star Prestige access, a premium service that offers guests larger rooms, personalized check-in and check-out and Concierge service. Guests who choose to stay in Star Prestige rooms also have access to the hotel's exclusive Star Prestige Sky Lounge, a rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi and sun loungers, as well as an open bar, refreshments and snacks.
