There have been many train problems recently.

On Thursday afternoon, Skånetrafiken announced that, among other things, they will have water on the trains.

The disruption in train traffic in recent weeks has now led Skånetrafiken to introduce water for all passengers on the trains.

– If you get stuck on trains for quite a long time in the heat, it is reasonable to be able to get water while waiting to be evacuated or to get into the station, says Skånetrafiken's traffic director Linus Eriksson.

Last week, passengers were stuck on a train at Hyllie, without water or functioning ventilation. About a hundred people got off the train and started walking on the track area, to get away.

Skånetrafiken is now also investing five million kronor in more bus routes to strengthen rush hour traffic. It will start in August.

– We have received a lot of complaints recently that many people have had to stand on certain departures, explains Linus Eriksson.

Traffic information will also be better and faster, and there will be fewer so-called short trains.

– I have received a lot of emails, comments and calls from people from Skåne who have been stuck in train traffic and who are frustrated and discouraged. So we will see what we can do, says Linus Eriksson.
