Operating profit was SEK 95 million (167), with an operating margin of 5.1 percent (9.0).

Profit before tax was SEK 93 million (170).

Profit after tax was SEK 73 million (132), a decrease of 45 percent compared to the previous year.

Return on operating capital amounted to 10.6 percent, which meant that the owner's target of 7 percent was exceeded.

SJ explains the decline in profits with the major disruptions to traffic during the summer.

”We estimate that without the summer maintenance work and unusual disruptions, SJ's operating profit for the third quarter would have been slightly better than the corresponding quarter.”
