To celebrate the launch of Qatar Airways' newly established Doha - Gothenburg route, a press conference was held today at Clarion Hotel Post in Gothenburg with Qatar Airways CEO, HE Mr. Akbar Al Baker.

The new direct line, which was launched on December 12, 2018, means, among other things, more visitors to Gothenburg and great freight potential for Swedish export companies.

– We are extremely pleased to launch our new direct route to Gothenburg, our second flight to Sweden. Gothenburg is both an important business centre and a growing tourist destination, which is becoming increasingly popular with international visitors. On the new route, we will offer our Swedish passengers greater comfort and smoother transfers with a wide range of destinations in our global network. We hope that more people will now have the chance to experience Gothenburg's unique charm and we look forward to welcoming everyone on board, says HE Mr Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways.
