Now a train trip all the way to Japan is being launched. Interest in traveling abroad by train has recently increased explosively. In October 2018, the travel company launched a train trip through Europe in collaboration with Dagens Nyheter.

As a result of the trip being fully booked in just one week, a new, identical train trip was opened. Världens Resor's range already includes a train trip to Hong Kong, and now the travel company is launching a train trip all the way to Japan – a 28-day experience on rails from Stockholm to Tokyo on the iconic Trans-Siberian Railway over the Ural Mountains.

During The Great Train Journey to Japan, several stops are made in Siberian cities and at Lake Baikal. In Vladivostok, Russia's outpost on the Pacific Ocean, the train is temporarily replaced by a boat to South Korea. The journey continues to beautiful Busan and then another boat trip to Fukuoka in Japan. The super express Shinkansen train, with a stop in Kyoto, rounds off the journey in the world's largest city, Tokyo. The return trip from Tokyo to Stockholm is, like all of Världens Resor's long-haul flights, carried out with climate compensation for CO2 emissions.
