Norwegian, in collaboration with Allianz Travel, has designed travel insurance for the company's travellers and their needs. Norwegian now offers cancellation protection and travel insurance that is valid for the entire trip.

A good travel insurance is important and provides travellers with extra security. I am therefore pleased that, in collaboration with Allianz Travel, we can now offer our customers full travel insurance, says Magnus Thome Maursund, Executive Vice President for Networking, Pricing and Planning at Norwegian.

Norwegian has previously offered cancellation protection that covers illness before travel. The new agreement with Allianz means that customers can now choose insurance that covers the entire trip. The new travel insurance, which customers can choose to add to their booking, includes insurance for illness during the trip, acute medical needs, lost, damaged or stolen baggage, and travel insurance coverage.

In recent years, new needs have emerged, and the insurance Allianz now offers Norwegian customers also covers diagnoses related to pandemics.

Allianz travel insurance is currently available for customers in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Germany, and the Netherlands.
