With, among other things, food served at the seat and free cancellation and rebooking, PLUS gives more people the chance to relax and enjoy the good service on board. The new ticket class is available for booking from today.
With increased travel and more departures, MTRX has the wind at its back. Sustainable travel is becoming increasingly important for both leisure and business travelers. Now a new feature is being launched for those who want their trip with a plus on the edge. The new PLUS ticket meets the needs of travelers and offers the same high level of service as for 1 CLASS PLUS. Together, they now constitute two competitive alternatives for conscious travelers.
Previously, the company offered three tickets – FIX, FLEX and 1 CLASS PLUS. The new PLUS is positioned between FLEX and 1 CLASS PLUS in terms of price and benefits.

With the new PLUS ticket, there are several advantages. The traveler is preferably placed in carriage A and receives a PLUS meal and coffee or tea served at their seat. In the event of cancellation or rebooking, the person who booked will receive a refund or can rebook for another departure at no extra cost. For travelers who book PLUS, all this and a lot more is included, and for those who also want an extra seat next to them, it is still possible to book in 1 CLASS PLUS.
The idea of an additional ticket class has been around for some time at the company, but was brought to life after travel increased again as the effects of the Corona pandemic on society eased. Increased travel places new demands on flexibility, says Maria Hofberg.
– For us, it is a way to meet the high demand we have seen during the year after the restrictions were lifted. Many people appreciate the personal service and flexibility but do not have the same need for an available seat next to them. Those who want to keep the extra seat next to them can still do so and continue to book the 1 CLASS PLUS ticket. We see it as another step in our ambition to constantly develop and offer something that suits everyone, says Maria Hofberg.
