Emil Ekberg. Emil brings international experience most recently from his position as Operations Manager at Clarion Hotel Stockholm. He will be tasked with continuing to develop Nordic Light into the obvious choice for both private guests and business travelers.
Nordic Light Hotel is a bright design oasis in Stockholm's best location. With the Nordic as a guiding star, sustainable interior design and a warm atmosphere meet here, just around the corner from Central Station. Now a new General Manager is being appointed and it will be Emil Ekberg who gets the job. He most recently came from the role of Operations Manager at Clarion Hotel Stockholm.

Emil brings international experience from some of the world’s most prestigious hotels – including The Landmark in London, Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces and the iconic luxury hotel the Waldorf Astoria in New York, where he served as Director of Front of House. He also worked in hotel management in the Philippines before moving back to Sweden and Clarion Hotel Stockholm in 2020.
At Nordic Light Hotel, Emil will continue to develop the offering for both business and leisure travelers. The first thing that greets guests is the Nordic-designed lobby that serves as the hotel's living room, but the meetings and events department, Light Meetings, is also an important part of the hotel's operations.
– It is a dream to take over responsibility for the iconic Nordic Light Hotel. The team has established the hotel as one of Stockholm's premier hotels for many years and I am very much looking forward to continuing the innovative journey, says Emil Ekberg.
Emil Ekberg will take office in February 2023.
