Swedavia's CFO, Mats Påhlson, has decided to leave Swedavia for a more independent role as his own consultant after eight years with the company. He will leave the assignment on June 15, 2023. Swedavia has begun recruiting a replacement.
– Mats has been involved in and contributed greatly to Swedavia's development during years that have been both challenging and important. Years where economic and financial decisions and strategies have been crucial in creating the right conditions for long-term competitiveness and a company that is prosperous over time. I am grateful for the contribution and the solid foundation Mats has helped create for the coming years. It is of course sad that Mats is now choosing to leave Swedavia, but at the same time I respect that he now wants to enter a different phase in his life, says Jonas Abrahamsson, Swedavia's President and CEO.
– It has been incredibly stimulating and developing to be part of the management of Swedavia with its multifaceted operations and with the fantastic purpose of bringing people together. I am convinced that with the company we are today and our 2030 vision, Swedavia has continued brilliant development ahead of it. Something my successor will be involved in driving and developing. I myself am looking forward to the next step in life, with interesting consulting assignments that in between create space for more time for family, friends and other leisure interests, says Mats Påhlson, Swedavia's CFO.
Mats Påhlson will remain in his position during the notice period. In parallel, Swedavia is continuing the work of recruiting his successor.
