Flix reveals new launch plans, India will be the next market

FlixBus has successfully launched in Europe, North America and Turkey. Now the company is planning its next expansion, India. The country is one of the world's largest bus markets and will see FlixBus green buses on the roads in 2024. 

Flix continues its strong growth journey
This year, FlixBus will launch in Chile and next year in India. With a bus market larger than Europe, Turkey and North America combined, Flix sees fantastic potential in the country. The goal is to offer residents affordable, sustainable, comfortable and safe bus travel.

We are willing to invest heavily in the local market where we aim to become the market leader. 

Flix, has already begun the process of forming a local team in India. The company has appointed Surya Khurana as the country CEO. With extensive experience in the mobility industry, he and his team will be looking for driven employees and local bus partners. With the launch, Flix will contribute to the economic growth of the country in the form of new jobs, increased tourism and tax revenues. 

The same standard around the world
Flix guarantees the same quality of service as in the company's other 40 markets. All buses offer free Wi-Fi, comfortable seats with plenty of legroom, air conditioning, power outlets and overall cleanliness and safety. In most countries, FlixBus also offers a seat reservation system, which is planned to be launched in all FlixBus markets. Flix has also set a goal of becoming completely carbon neutral.
