The US Coast Guard is expanding the search for the tourist boat that disappeared en route to the Titanic wreck on Sunday, according to information provided to Sky News. 

The authorities will expand the possibilities for searching in deeper waters, writes Sky News. 

It has previously been reported that an area the size of the state of Connecticut was searched overnight, according to CNN, 

The US Coast Guard has sent out Hercules planes to search the sea surface at the site where the submarine was sunk, and the Canadian Coast Guard has deployed aircraft that use buoys equipped with sonar, writes TT. 

Additional rescue ships have been sent to the scene, but it could take several days for them to arrive.
