In early April 2023, Tallink Grupp's Latvian subsidiary, AS Tallink Latvija, and Hansalink Ltd signed a multi-year charter agreement with the Canadian company Bridgemans Floatel Limited Partnership for the vessel Isabelle. The agreement included a call option, and today this call option has been exercised when the Bridgemans Group's Cyprus subsidiary, Notamare Shipping Company Limited, acquired the vessel from Tallink Grupp.

The Latvian vessel Isabelle, which operated the Riga-Stockholm route prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, has been chartered to Bridgemans Floatel Limited Partnership since 1 July 2023. Isabelle departed Tallinn for Canada in December 2023 following an extensive refit of the vessel. The vessel arrived in Canada in early January 2024, joining a long list of floatels that Bridgemans has built, positioned and operated around the world to service major industrial and resource projects. These floatels are largely self-sufficient and fully equipped to provide safe, secure and comfortable long-term accommodation.

”"We are pleased that Isabelle will now, after almost 11 years in Tallink Grupp's fleet and at the respectable age of 35, continue to offer a valuable and much-needed service similar to the one she offered to Ukrainian war refugees here in Tallinn earlier. She will also continue to provide safe accommodation for people in the future - but this time for workers on large global industrial and resource projects," says Tallink Grupp's CEO Paavo Nõgene.

”Tallink Grupp has a long history of cooperation with Bridgemans. Our cooperation spans over a decade, so we are pleased that Isabelle is in good hands and we know that she will be well taken care of by the new shipowners.”

According to the press release.
