Tallink Silja Line's ship Baltic Princess, which operates on the Turku–Stockholm route, will undergo planned maintenance in Naantali, Finland, between February 26 and March 18, 2025. During the drydocking, the ship will, in addition to technical maintenance, undergo an extensive renovation of its general passenger areas.

The upcoming renovation of Baltic Princess will be noticeable immediately when passengers step on board. The completely renovated reception and lobby will welcome guests with a fresh and modern Scandinavian design. The ship's shops will also receive an extensive upgrade, where a new, modern interior will enhance the shopping experience on board.
In addition, the largest duty-free store will receive a brand new area for product launches and tastings, as well as a smooth self-service solution with four checkouts for a more efficient and convenient customer experience. The perfume and cosmetics store will have two entrances and the gift shop will be more spacious. The new interior of both the reception and the stores is created by Finnish design company Franz Design.

The popular à la carte restaurant Grill House will also receive an extensive renovation, with the new design by Heikki Mattila already implemented on Tallink Silja Line's Baltic Queen. Meanwhile, the elegant Piano Bar will receive a new design, with an interior created by Marjut Nousiainen.
– The dry docking of Baltic Princess is a comprehensive project, with a particular focus on the passenger areas. The renovation of the ship's shops, one of the largest à la carte restaurants, the cocktail bar, as well as the reception and lobby amounts to almost 4 million euros, which corresponds to approximately half of the total costs of the planned dry docking. We believe and hope that our guests will appreciate the result when everything is complete, says Tarvi-Carlos Tuulik, Head of Ship Management at Tallink Grupp.
Baltic Princess will be temporarily taken out of service in Turku on 26 February 2025 at 13:00. During the planned drydocking, extensive technical maintenance will also be carried out, including servicing and painting of the underwater hull and overhaul of propellers and rudders. In addition, further technical updates will be carried out that cannot be carried out during regular operations.
