SJ has been named Sweden's greenest brand across all industries, and also in the Transport category for the sixteenth year in a row. Through a survey among the Swedish public, SJ has once again been praised for its leading environmental and sustainability work. This is shown in this year's report Swedes' Views on Brands and Sustainability.
The award is based on the results of the survey "Swedish Views on Brands and Sustainability". It is a recurring survey conducted by the consulting firm Differ. The survey was completed by over 1,000 Swedes aged 15-74. They were asked to answer questions about the environment and sustainability and give their views on brands in dozens of different industries. The survey has been conducted since 2008.
In the survey, SJ receives the highest average value of all brands. SJ also achieves an extra strong result as one of the few brands in the history of the survey that has received an average value above 5.0 on a scale of 1-7. SJ thus received the Push of the Year award. This means that SJ is a leader in creating a green brand when the Swedish people are asked.
– It is of course great that we are perceived as the most sustainable brand, because it is really true. Our product is unbeatable when it comes to sustainability, and it is extra fun to receive this award this year because we have focused on our sustainability work, says SJ's Communications and Sustainability Director Claes Lindholtz.
