Cruise ship stranded – danger of cholera outbreak

A large cruise ship has been forced to stop just off Mauritius after a suspected cholera outbreak, reports The Mauritian.

2184 passengers are on board the ship called ”Norwegian Dawn”.

On Sunday morning, health authorities boarded the ship to take blood samples from all passengers. Results are expected within 48 hours to determine whether the passengers are infected or not.
