Running directly between the two largest cities in the Nordic region, Stockholm and Copenhagen. There will be two daily departures in each direction throughout the summer until September 29. The service will premiere on May 16 and ticket sales start today.

“Direct trains to and from Copenhagen mean that we can offer an easier and better train journey for many travelers,” says Marco Andersson, commercial manager at Snälltåget.

The fast train has previously run between Stockholm and Malmö and there are departures on that line that are now extended to and from København H, right in the center of Copenhagen and opposite Tivoli Gardens and only two blocks from the popular pedestrian street Strøget.

– Previously, we have only been able to offer the journey with one change to and from Öresundståg in Malmö. With direct trains to and from Denmark, we also hope to attract more travelers to travel with Snälltåget, continues Marco.

The trains stop in Södertälje, Norrköping, Linköping, Nässjö, Alvesta, Hässleholm, Eslöv, Lund, Malmö and Copenhagen Ørestad. From Ørestad you can travel by Metro into central Copenhagen to, for example, Kongens Nytorv and the tourist district of Nyhavn.

From Stockholm, trains depart at 09.33 and 16.20* and from Copenhagen at 07.02* and 16.07. The journey time varies, but the fastest is 5.5 hours. The price for an adult one-way trip is from 299 SEK Stockholm – Copenhagen. The fast train also has preferential prices if you are traveling with children under 16 years of age and for adults traveling together.

Between Stockholm and Malmö, and vice versa, there is Snälltåget's popular restaurant car "Krogen" and on weekends the train from Stockholm in the morning and Copenhagen in the afternoon will offer the opportunity to enjoy something delicious even across the Öresund.

*) The departure only stops at Copenhagen Ørestad (the train continues to or comes from Berlin)

According to the press release.
