Seminar at Seas is the name of the exclusive training program that Royal Caribbean organizes for its new travel agents. In May, 400 travel agents from Europe, the Middle East and Africa will participate in an eventful four-night experience on the ship Oasis of the Seas. During the voyage from Barcelona to Rome, the travel agents will have the opportunity to delve into Royal Caribbean, cruise travel and everything that it entails.

Following the success of last year’s Seminar at Seas, the training program is back to welcome 400 travel agents new to the cruise industry, or new partners, to Royal Caribbean. Over four nights aboard Oasis of the Seas, travel agents will experience the essence of a Royal Caribbean cruise.

The training will be available in six languages: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Norwegian and English. During the interactive sessions, participants will engage in everything from quizzes to role-playing. These activities are designed to give travel advisors deeper insights, as well as practical tools and resources that they can use to best assist their clients. Of course, the trip also includes exploring the pool area, visiting restaurants and a chance to experience shows and other entertainment on board. In addition, for the first time, participants will have the opportunity to try out excursions at selected destinations during the trip.

– We are so excited to welcome our Swedish travel agents aboard one of our most popular Oasis-class ships. Participants can expect four days of engaging sessions where they will gain an in-depth insight into the cruise life. The training program will also give them the tools and knowledge to best meet their clients’ needs, says Karen Tucker, Sales Director for the Nordics at Royal Caribbean International.
Seminar at Seas is one of Royal Caribbean’s initiatives to support its travel agents in 2024 and beyond. It has also announced plans for a series of educational sessions, Café Royal digital drop-in sessions, competitions and more that will be available throughout the year via the company’s digital learning platform.

According to the press release.
