SAS has appointed Pia Herrera as its new Head of Communications in Sweden.

Pia, together with her colleagues in the communications team, will contribute to SAS's continued work to strengthen relationships with the media, customers, and other stakeholders in Sweden.

Pia Herrera brings extensive experience from the media industry, where she has worked as a journalist and presenter for Sveriges Radio and Sveriges Television. Pia has also previously worked as a press secretary at the Swedish Tax Agency and within the travel and aviation industry, providing her with further valuable insights and experiences that will benefit SAS's proactive work with media, PR, and communication.

Earlier this summer, SAS announced that Norway will also receive a new press manager, Øystein Schmidt, from 1 August. Pia starts as press manager on 12 August.
