Norwegian launches Montpellier, Basel and Beirut from Stockholm and Riga from Gothenburg

Norwegian continues to develop its route network and today additional routes are being launched for next summer, four of which are from Sweden. From Stockholm Arlanda, direct flights are being launched to Montpellier, Basel and Beirut. From Gothenburg Landvetter, direct flights are being launched to Riga. A total of 350 routes are being offered during the summer half of 2026.  

– It is gratifying to be able to offer even more destinations next summer, which means that Swedish travelers now have an even greater choice. These new routes mean that Norwegian will start seven new routes in Sweden in the summer of 2026, offering a total of 72 routes to 64 destinations. We look forward to welcoming travelers on board, says Charlotte Holmbergh, Country Director Corporate Affairs Norwegian.

In addition to new lines from Stockholm and Gothenburg, the following lines today; from Copenhagen to Tel Aviv and Tbilisi, from Oslo to Cluj, Lamezia and Zurich, and from Bergen and Stavanger to Tirana from Helsinki and to Las Palmas. 

In September, Norwegian launched new routes from Stockholm to Milan and Hamburg, as well as from Gothenburg to Tirana.  

The following new lines are launched today:
Stockholm Arlanda – Beirut starts April 3, 2026
Stockholm Arlanda – Montpellier starts May 16, 2026
Stockholm Arlanda – Basel starts May 22, 2026
Gothenburg Landvetter – Riga starts March 29, 2026
Copenhagen – Tbilisi starts June 27, 2026
Copenhagen – Tel Aviv starts April 1, 2026
Oslo – Lamezia starts 4 May 2026
Oslo – Zurich starts May 21, 2026
Oslo – Cluj starts June 20, 2026
Helsinki – Las Palmas starts May 20, 2026
Bergen – Las Palmas starts March 30, 2026
Stavanger – Las Palmas starts April 17, 2026

New lines in Sweden launched in September:

Stockholm Arlanda – Milan starts May 13, 2026 
Stockholm Arlanda – Hamburg starts May 13, 2026 
Gothenburg Landvetter – Tirana starts June 19

Norwegian operates a summer and a winter program that changes twice a year, at the end of October and the end of March respectively. In total, Norwegian operates 350 routes during the summer program 2026, which means that it is now possible to book flights to 129 destinations in 40 countries.
