A Norwegian aeroplane was on its way to Riga when it was struck by lightning in Norway, reports Daily Newspaper.

– This happens now and then, and isn't dangerous, but the plane must make a stop in Oslo for a technical check, says Silje Glorvigen, spokesperson for Norwegian, to the newspaper.
