AccorHotels and Algeciras acquire Chilean Atton Hoteles for USD 105 million.

The hotel chain currently operates 11 hotels with a total of 2,259 rooms and also has three new hotels under development. The hotels, which are primarily aimed at business travelers, are located in Chile, Peru, Colombia and Florida in the USA.

The deal strengthens AccorHotels' position in Latin America, where the hotel operator already has 335 hotels and 166 new projects under development.

“We are very pleased with this strategic agreement with Algeciras. Atton Hoteles’ portfolio will strengthen AccorHotels’ already strong position in Latin America and allow us to offer our customers more options in these attractive destinations,” says Patrick Mendes, CEO of AccorHotels in South America.
