Greece's most famous tourist attraction, the Acropolis in Athens, will be closed on Tuesday afternoon due to the intense heat wave currently affecting the country, according to news agency NTB.
The Greek Ministry of Culture has decided that the attraction will be closed to visitors and workers between 1 pm and 5 pm local time.
