In light of the security situation in the border area between Colombia and Panama, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against all travel to Panama.
The advisory applies within a 20 kilometre radius of the border with Colombia.
”The security situation in the border area with Colombia is serious, with a high risk of violence and crime. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassy in Guatemala City are closely monitoring developments, writes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs” press service in an email to TT.
