A British Airways airplane has been forced to make an emergency landing. The entire cabin filled with smoke as the plane was landing in Spain. Three people have been taken to hospital.

A British Airways plane has been forced to make an emergency landing, according to The Mirror.The plane is scheduled to take off from London on Monday afternoon. Fortunately, the accident occurred as the plane was landing at the airport in Valencia, Spain. 

The Spanish sports journalist Dani Meroño Bori was on board the plane. He has uploaded videos of his Twitter account where it's clearly evident that the entire cabin is filled with smoke.

– Everything went well, but it was really scary when there was a lot of smoke during the flight. British Airways, change planes! he writes on Twitter. The reason is said to be that the entire cabin filled with smoke for an unknown reason.

Three to hospital

200 passengers had to be evacuated from the aircraft and around 20 received treatment on site. Three people have been taken to hospital, according to The Mirror.

– They reportedly flew for 10 minutes with the entire cabin full of smoke, without any information from the crew and with oxygen masks that didn't drop down, says a frightened passenger's father, who was not on board, to the British newspaper. According to The Mirror, the pilot reportedly said in the flight communication that the engine had caught fire.
