The public is back at Sweden's museums and visitor levels are now almost at the same level as before the pandemic, reports TT, citing a new report from the Swedish Agency for Culture and Analysis.

A total of 26.9 million museum visits were made in Sweden in 2022. This is just over 90 percent of the number of visits made in 2019, the last full year before the pandemic.

”"We see a recovery to normal levels for virtually all measures," says Erik Vestin, statistician at Kulturanalys, in a press release.
