Air France-KLM increased passenger numbers in March

Air France-KLM reports a 5.4 percent increase in passenger numbers in March. In February, growth was 4.4 percent.

Traffic increased by 6.1 percent, measured as RPK. In total, the company transported approximately 8 million passengers during the month, including for Transavia.

The cabin factor rose 2.5 percentage points to 87.3 percent, the company said in a press release. Freight traffic fell by 0.8 percent.

Air France-KLM is one of Europe's largest airlines.
