The airline Air France-KLM wants to raise 988 million euros, equivalent to around 10 billion kronor, in a new share issue. It reports Reuters.
The money will be used to strengthen the company's liquidity and normal operations in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, writes Rueters.
The subscription price will be in the range of 4.84-5.31 euros per share, which can be compared to Monday's closing price of 5.31 euros on the Paris Stock Exchange.
The French state, which owns 14.3 percent of the shares in the company, has committed to subscribe for up to 65.9 percent of the shares in the new issue. The Dutch state, which owns 14 percent of the shares, intends not to participate in the new issue, according to Reuters.
