Air Leap started its flight operations in Sweden on June 11th of this year on the Mariehamn – Arlanda route, and has since opened several routes.
Today, the company also operates flights between Karlstad – Arlanda, Jönköping – Arlanda and Mariehamn – Turku.
The routes have been operated by leased capacity. On Friday, October 19, the company received its flight permit issued by the Swedish Transport Agency, therefore the traffic will be produced under its own management in the future.
The destinations Mariehamn – Arlanda, Mariehamn – Turku and Jönköping – Arlanda have previously been served by the Jetstream 32 aircraft type with space for 19 passengers, where the company has now increased capacity to 33 passengers per departure with the Saab 340 aircraft type, an increase of 42 percent.
