Air traffic controllers in France are set to strike on Thursday, which risks leading to major disruptions at Paris' two largest airports.

The strike notice comes after union negotiations over wages and a review of the country's air traffic control system collapsed.

Around 75 percent of air traffic at Orly and Charles de Gaulle could be affected, according to the air traffic controllers' union. Regional airports are also expected to be affected.
