Dubai, the world's busiest airport by passenger numbers, is now back to its pre-pandemic passenger levels. In the third quarter, just over 18.4 million passengers flew through Dubai Airport, according to new statistics. This is the highest number since the first quarter of 2020, when the pandemic broke out.

The forecast for 2023 is now 77.8 million passengers and 87.4 million for 2024, in which case higher than before the pandemic when the record figure was 86.4 million.
