Airbnb's pandemic response becomes permanent. 

Airbnb has permanently banned parties and events in homes rented out through its platform after a temporary measure during the pandemic proved popular with hosts, the company said, BBC reports.

The company highlights that the rule has become ”much more than a public health measure” since it was introduced in August 2020. The number of complaints decreased by 44 percent since the measure was first introduced.
