Home rental company Airbnb has named Greg Greeley as the new head of its Homes business, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Greg Greeley is an Amazon veteran who himself announced on LinkedIn that he was leaving his role as head of Amazon Prime. He did not write that he was starting at Airbnb, but that he would move on to a ”different assignment.”.

But now it appears that Airbnb will be the new destination for Greg Greeley. He will take over Homes, which co-founder and CEO Brian Chesky has so far overseen while the search for a head of the unit continues.

Homes includes the rentals of apartments and homes that Airbnb is known for and accounts for almost half of Airbnb's revenue.
