Aircraft manufacturer Airbus, based in Toulouse, France, announces that production of the A380 aircraft model will cease, according to cnn.com.

The reason is that the airline Emirates has withdrawn the large order for the plane that would secure its future.

The order was of crucial importance to Airbus. Just over a year ago, there were reports of problems between the seller and buyer during the negotiation of the deal. The negotiation concerned the purchase of 36 new A380 aircraft.
