Aircraft manufacturer Airbus shares fall almost 10 percent after a lowered profit forecast for 2024. Airbus cites continued problems with supply disruptions and a challenging market for the space program.
Airbus announced after the Paris Stock Exchange closed on Monday that it now expects to deliver around 700 aircraft this year, compared with a previous forecast of around 800 aircraft.
The forecast for adjusted operating profit in 2024 is lowered to EUR 5.5 billion, down from EUR 7.0 billion in the previous forecast.
