The order for up to 36 Airbus A380s from Dubai-based Emirates, worth up to $16 billion, is under threat.

This is after discussions regarding the engines reportedly delayed deliveries, which were first expected to start in early 2020.
Airbus has previously said it would have been forced to halt production of the A380 if the Emirates deal had not gone through. The new order secured continued production at least into the next decade.
